Ownership at Work (OAW) is looking for upto three new Trustees to join our exciting and growing organisation as we embark on a new phase and look to launch the employee ownership (EO) sector’s largest ever research programme.

OAW exists to generate insight into the impact of EO on workers, organisations and wider society and economy.  We produce research and fresh thinking that supports and challenges political and policy decision-makers to address growing levels of EO in the UK, and helps businesses and employees to reap the positive outcomes EO can bring.

Launched in 2019, OAW is an independent charitable think tank and research partner to the sector’s trade body, the Employee Ownership Association (EOA).  We have recently completed fundraising to deliver two unpredecented national research programmes to establish a new baseline for the economic, social and environmental impact of employee ownership.

Our existing Board of Trustee Directors are all highly respected individuals with strong track records in and around the EO and worker co-operative sector. We are keen to welcome new Trustees from a diversity of backgrounds and with different experiences to share as we strengthen our skills in key areas.

Our Trustees are complemented by a small group of Fellows who are all leaders in their fields from inside the EO sector and beyond, and who help ensure our research programme is highly relevant. We are also privileged to have three highly esteemed public figures on our Advisory Board who bring the weight of their insight, intellect and experience to support OAW to achieve its ambition.
